Contract:                        12 months (renewable)

Working Hours:            36 hours / week however extra work hours will be needed.

Location:                       Tunis with frequent travel to the 20 governorates aside of greater Tunis

ABOUT US:

I WATCH is a Tunisian watchdog organisation created after the revolution in 2011. I WATCH works mainly on two axes: transparency and corruption. I WATCH has been the official chapter of Transparency International in Tunisia since September 2019. I WATCH is made up of like-minded young professionals and motivated volunteers who, through their innovative work, are determined to tackle the problem of corruption and lack of transparency in both public and private sectors.

BACKGROUND:

SHBEBEK is a digital platform that produces engaged and alternative content aligned with the organization’s objectives. Launched in 2020, SHBEBEK aims to promote freedom of expression and defend human rights through the production of engaging and interactive stories and digital programs that are tailored to the interests and needs of citizens across Tunisia. 

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our team. The Videographer will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with Shbebek's mission and objectives. This includes conceptualizing, filming, editing, and finalizing videos for various platforms and purposes, such as social media, websites, and events. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, film, and edit engaging video content for Shbebek's various projects and campaigns.
  • Capture high-quality video footage using professional-grade cameras
  • Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up and tearing down equipment
  • Use Ronin stabilizers for smooth and dynamic shots
  • Manipulate lighting to enhance video quality and create desired effects
  • Edit videos for various platforms, including YouTube and social media, ensuring they meet quality and content standards
  • Photograph events and subjects as needed
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop video concepts and storyboards
  • Manage and maintain video equipment
  • Ensure all videos are consistent with the organization’s brand and messaging
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new video production techniques

The postholder will be expected to work towards agreed objectives, which should facilitate the achievement of the key responsibilities in accordance with the performance review process.


PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Qualifications:

  • Education: University / Training degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 -3 years of professional experience in video production.
  • Working flexible hours with an openess to travel accross the country when needed.
  • Commitment to I WATCH’s values and ways of working and to I WATCH’s objectives to promote transparency and anticorruption.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of video production techniques, including shooting, lighting, and audio recording.
    • Excellent storytelling skills and creativity in visual content creation.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Fluent in Arabic and French; proficiency in English is a plus.
