ABOUT US:
I WATCH is a Tunisian watchdog organisation created after the revolution in 2011. I WATCH works mainly on two axes: transparency and corruption. I WATCH has been the official chapter of Transparency International in Tunisia since September 2019. I WATCH is made up of like-minded young professionals and motivated volunteers who, through their innovative work, are determined to tackle the problem of corruption and lack of transparency in both public and private sectors.

IDRAK, Institute for Development Research, Analysis and Governance Knowledge, is a Tunisian Think Tank that comes from the initiative of I WATCH Organization to contribute in increasing general awareness of public policies and global challenges, particularly in terms of good governance. At IDRAK, our mission is to advance the understanding and practice of good governance principles to promote transparency and accountability. Through rigorous research, insightful analysis, and evidence-based recommendations, we work tirelessly to empower governments, organizations, and communities with the knowledge and tools they need to foster sustainable development. The Institute seeks to be a space for students and young researchers to develop their research and analytical capabilities and to support academic work in its field of activity. IDRAK provides its services to improve governance in institutions and guide them in order to enhance their governance and the integrity of their activities.
DRAK is currently seeking a senior research director to lead its team. The senior research director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the think tank, overseeing and managing the research agenda in alignment with organizational goals, developing and implementing research methodologies and protocols, and building and maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders. Among other things, the senior research director will develop research tools and methodologies, analyze data, and provide recommendations and solutions related to IDRAK's field of work, mainly: Public policies, anti-corruption, and good governance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Research Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of the organization's research strategy.
Provide guidance on the design and implementation of research projects.
Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the research team.
Support the development of policy positions on corruption and public policy in Tunisia.
Contribute to the development of knowledge materials, tools, and methodologies to meet the research team’s objectives, including producing studies, policy briefs and on-demand research and policy support on corruption, public policy, and governance.
2. Team Management:
Manage and mentor a team of researchers, setting performance expectations and conducting regular evaluations.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the research department and with other organizational units.
3 Project Oversight:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of research and knowldge management related projects within established timelines and budgets.
Ensure the dissemination of research findings through appropriate channels.
4 Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, including funding agencies, research collaborators, and policymakers.
Represent the Think Tank at conferences, meetings, and other relevant forums.
Build partnerships with external counterparts, communities of practice and stakeholders
